Мобилизованные ОРДЛО возмущены, что Россия не намерена обменивать их: Кремль возвращает в РФ только россиян. Группа пленных боевиков из ОРДЛО, находящихся в плену уже два года, записали обращение к Путину.

Они выразили недоумение по поводу политики обмена пленными, проводимой Москвой. Они были мобилизованы и воевали на фронтах плечом к плечу с российскими войсками в интересах Путина, однако, когда наступило время для обмена пленными, они оказались забыты и брошены Россией на произвол судьбы.

His Canon Press this month published American Milk and Honey, provocatively subtitled “Antisemitism, the Promise of Deuteronomy, and the True Israel of God.” It contains facts which radically undercut some of the reigning orthodoxies of evangelical and conservative Protestantism; and Wilson being Wilson, makes other assertions which radically undercut his radical undercutting.

In the early pages of the book he writes, “I am a supercessionist, a doctrine which holds that the promises given to Israel in the Old Testament have been fulfilled in the New Israel, which is the Christian church. The Greek word Iudaios can be rendered either as ‘Jew’ (as opposed to Gentiles), or as ‘Judean,’ as opposed to Galilean…

“… because there is no salvation apart from Christ, modern Jews, who reject Christ as their Messiah, are rejecting their only possible hope of salvation. I am not a Zionist, Christian, or otherwise, which means I don’t believe there was a theological case to be made for the establishment of Israel and Palestine in 1948… I believe that the Holocaust was a horrific evil, but I don’t believe it sui generis—the human race has it been every bit as wicked as that before, and on numerous occasions.”

Why Israel is a Jewish supremacist state

There is much I can agree with in Yoav Litvin’s article “The Zionist fallacy of Jewish supremacy“. Without a doubt, Zionism is a modern settler colonial movement which emerged in the twilight of the colonial era. It is also true that Zionism was a reaction to the anti-Semitism of the European colonial and racial movements of the late 19th century and it is equally true that Zionism’s reaction to anti-Semitism was to try and take advantage of it and harness it as an engine does with steam power.

It is also true that Zionism perceives Jews as a biological race. Because, what else is the myth of Jewish nationhood other than a racial one? Given that Jews are members of every nation on the Earth and speak most languages, what else but race binds them according to Zionist folklore?

I also agree with Litvin that Zionism mercilessly exploits and uses Judaism or parts of it in order to justify its racist and indeed genocidal practices. On all this and more we agree and yet I cannot concur with the idea that Zionism in the form of the Israeli state is a Jewish supremacist state. This flies in the face of the evidence.

Jewish Apartheid: Tool of Zionist Settler Colonialism

Since 1948, Palestinians have endured an ongoing Nakba (catastrophe) of forced displacement, refugeehood, and exile; the denial of their right to return to Palestine; and an ongoing process of domination, foreign occupation, annexation, and settler colonisation. Throughout historic Palestine, Palestinians have been systematically fragmented, dispossessed of their land and property, and arbitrarily deprived of their collective right to self-determination.

While we are encouraged by the growing global recognition of Israeli apartheid, we note that Zionist settler colonialism and its eliminatory logic remain missing from recent analyses and reports on apartheid by Israeli and international human rights organisations. It is this gap, which our report titled “Israeli Apartheid: Tool of Zionist Settler Colonialism” seeks to fill.

Nakba - violent displacement and dispossession of Palestinians, and the destruction of their society

The Nakba (Arabic: النكبة, romanized: an-Nakbah, lit. 'the catastrophe') was the violent displacement and dispossession of Palestinians, and the destruction of their society, culture, identity, political rights, and national aspirations.[1] The term is used to describe both the events of 1948, as well as the ongoing occupation of the Palestinian territories (the West Bank and the Gaza Strip) and persecution and displacement of Palestinians throughout the region.[2]

The foundational events of the Nakba took place during and shortly after the 1948 Palestine war, including 78% of Mandatory Palestine being declared as Israel, the expulsion and flight of 700,000 Palestinians, the related depopulation and destruction of over 500 Palestinian villages by Zionist militias and later the Israeli army[3] and subsequent geographical erasure, the denial of the Palestinian right of return, the creation of permanent Palestinian refugees, and the "shattering of Palestinian society".[4][5][6][7]

The Nakba is described by many scholars including Ilan Pappe as ethnic cleansing[8]. The Palestinian national narrative views the Nakba as a collective trauma that defines their national identity and political aspirations, whereas the Israeli national narrative views the same events in terms of the war of independence that established Jewish aspirations for statehood and sovereignty.[10][11][12] The Palestinians mark 15 May as Nakba Day, the day after Israeli independence day.[13][14]

The Nakba greatly influenced Palestinian culture and is a foundational symbol of Palestinian identity, together with "Handala", the keffiyeh and the symbolic key. Countless books, songs and poems have been written about the Nakba.[15] Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish described the Nakba as "an extended present that promises to continue in the future."[16][17]
